FBC Family! I am still rejoicing over our sweet time of prayer on Sunday morning! My heart and prayer is that God would call us to pray in anguish. That He would break our hearts and help us to walk with Him deeply and powerfully. We are on the cusp of revival! Pray! Pray! Pray!

I wanted to update you on a couple of questions that seem to keep coming up. We have a very faithful and wonderful viewership on KSWO. Each Sunday morning many people are tuning in to be a part of our services. One common frustration has been that the service is cut off before it is finished. Hopefully this issue will be remedied with our new worship service start time. Starting on October 4th we will start our worship service at 10:50am. I believe that the ten minute head start will allow for our services to coordinate better with the KSWO television schedule. Hallelujah!

The other question is in regard to when we will restart Sunday School for our children. As a daddy, I understand every side of this question. Please pray that God will give us discernment by using His wisdom as we zero in on a target date. I am currently working with Aaron Myers to work through what our new normal will look like for our children, parents, and Sunday School teachers. Once we get that plan together and secure enough willing workers, we will settle on that glorious return date.  We are also creating a plan for extended service childcare and Kids-4-Christ. If you feel led of the Lord to use your gifts to serve in any of these areas, please contact Aaron Myers via email, aaron@fbclawton.org and he will help you get started.

I wake up every morning excited to be a part of the FBC Lawton family. Sometimes it is hard for me to sleep at night because of all that I can see in my heart and what God wants to do with us! You have already become very special to me and I cannot wait for each Sunday to come! God has a bright and powerful future for us! Stay in the Word. Pray. Obey. And let us rejoice in the fruit that comes through faithfulness to our God and King. Amen!
