I love you First Baptist Family! The Lord blessed us with another wonderful Sunday gathering! I would encourage each of you to read through 2 Peter 1:3-9 this week and take note of the spiritual diagnostic tool that the Lord gave us in His Word. Starting in verse 5 we are challenged to add to our faith the following godly characteristics; Goodness, Knowledge, Self Control, Perseverance, Godliness, Brotherly Kindness, and Brotherly Love. Remember, these characteristics are to all be present and functioning at the same time. Much like an orchestra blends individual instruments to make beautiful music; God takes these traits and uses us as powerful agents of His love. If you’re with me, say “I am”!
Our business celebration was a wonderful time to gather and celebrate all that the Lord is doing in our church! We determined that now is the time to start pursuing a full-time Children’s Ministry Coordinator! I believe that this is a crucial next step for us and will result in God blessing our church with many new families.
Church family, I frequently tell you that I love you. Each time it feels like I mean it more than the time before! You are a wonderful blessing. I am also proud of you. You truly are the best part of who we are as a church. So many of you are constantly sharing the love of Jesus in your own private ministries, benevolence, and acts of service. You are the most encouraging church family that I have ever been a part of. I am fortunate to be your pastor. Keep striving to walk with God!
