Summer is winding down. The kids are back in school and football season is upon us. We had a fantastic summer of Falls Creek, CrossTimbers and multiple mission trips. Promotion Sunday is over and now it is time to move back into our next academic year.
This means that the time is here for Discipleship University. Discipleship is a critical component for maintaining and growing our relationship with our Savior and Father. I recently read a survey that found that 6 out of every 10 evangelical pastors believed their own church was not “doing well” at discipling new believers and promoting spiritual growth. We cannot be a healthy church and at the same time a church that does not train and encourage people in their personal growth. We need to be a part of Discipleship.
Discipleship University, DU, is going to meet at 5:30 pm on Sunday evenings starting on September 9th.
I am excited about the classes we are offering this fall! Patrick, Tony, Dr Dan Horton, and I look forward to challenging us to mature in our journey in the Gospel.
So come in Sunday night September 9th at 5:30 pm to hear what is going on and get signed up for a time of growth this fall. Take the step to live out 2 Timothy 3:16-17.
