The Living Christmas Tree

The 36th Living Christmas Tree (LCT) is quickly approaching. If you are unfamiliar with this annual event, here are a few details: The Living Christmas Tree is presented as a gift to the community from First Baptist Church by a 100 voice choir, full orchestra and drama cast. The 39 foot metal constructed tree is covered with 100,000 computer controlled lights moving in synchronization to music. It is a unique sight to behold. Each year offers a new presentation, but the message is always the same. The purpose and heartbeat of this event is to share the gospel message of Christ and His love.

Ephesians 2:8-9 states, “For you are saved by grace through faith, and this is not from yourselves; it is God’s gift – not from works, so that no once can boast.” (HSCB) As God the Father extends His grace through the Son, to those who believe, so we desire to extend this “free gift” to our community.  If you desire to be involved in this ministry, here are a variety of ways to be involved.

    1. We hope you made it to the show! There is no official dress code to this event. Causal attire is fine for our event with the cold weather.
