Acts 2:42 “And they continued steadfastly in the apostles doctrine and fellowship , and the breaking of bread and in prayers.”
The early church met on a regular basis for instruction, prayer and fellowship. Part of that fellowship was breaking of bread, which references the Lord’s Supper, but also probably included fellowship meals.
The men of First Baptist Church will have an opportunity to be blessed with a fellowship breakfast, courtesy of Men’s Ministry, this coming Saturday morning, March 25, 2017 at 8:30 AM.
This breakfast will be held on Chandler Creek, at Dr. Dan Horton’s farm. A campfire breakfast consisting of pancakes, biscuits and gravy, bacon, sausage, hash browns and eggs will be served.
The setting is beautiful, the food will be great, but the best part will be the fellowship .
Kent Bowles, former FCA staff and former chaplain for OU Sooners football team, will bring a short message.
If you need transportation, be at the west parking lot of the church by 8 AM and transportation will be provided. If you wish to go and have not already signed up, please do so by Wednesday by calling the church office or sign up at the Wednesday evening meal. A $5.00 donation per person is suggested.
Hope to see you there.
