Discover—Create an atmosphere where students feel comfortable inviting their peers.
Develop— The focus of this will be to help train our students in doctrine, apologetics, and preparation for service within the church and the body of Christ as a whole. Students will dive deeper into the Word so that they are prepared for questions that others may ask about their faith. They will also be led to dig into the Word to discover what it teaches about core doctrines. Training in how to share our faith will be included in this time. This will be a more in-depth time of study.
Deploy—Students will be prepared here for the times and places of service where they may serve. This will also be a time where students will be challenged to prepare and lead the discussion regarding particular topics. What they discover for themselves in the Word, they will be able to teach. All this will be done in this setting where there is a “safety net” around them so they may be free to make mistakes while still having other adult leaders around them to help when needed. The students will be prepared to mentor other students.
Discover—Create an atmosphere where students can bring their peers. The focus of this will be on developing relationships in the larger group setting. The concept is to make others feel welcome and as though they belong here. This will serve as almost a “pre-evangelism” role.
Develop—Students will be challenged with a brief talk from the Word each week, but the focus will be on developing relationships and fellowship more during these times.
Deploy—Students will be equipped and deployed into service here in various roles such as greeters, band members, those who bring others in and make them feel welcome, as mentors to other students, and other areas in which they may serve.
