So we have been through all of summer and have started the school year. With that we have been determining the best course of action for some type of VBS event. We had surveys posted online and tried to get a better understanding of how we might approach it. With that in mind, we want to provide an opportunity for a Family Event around VBS 2020. We will host a VBS Family Night on Sunday night, October 4th @ 5PM. We ask you to register your family for this on our website.  This registration will help us with knowing how much seating and other items we will need to have available. We will be doing music from the theme, crafts and other activities. This will be a great event for the whole family. Please let me know if you would like to help out in any way. We will need greeters to direction givers, to helpers in making and providing packets of information.

Upward season is not as far off as you may think, and it’s that time of year where we get our coaches and other volunteers lined up. So if you have been waiting for this now is your time to get hooked up with Mike Garza.  This is a great outreach to our community and it takes many volunteers from our church to make it happen. Last year we had a hard time coming up with enough workers to make the season happen. So please prayerfully consider how you can help out with Upward. WE NEED YOU! Upward season begins in January and finishes up the first week of March.

Thank you church for how you support these two great community outreach events here in our church. Families are a very important part of what we do here at FBC. Please prayerfully consider how you can be involved in these two activities to reach our community and invite people to be involved in them.

  1. Bro Mike, I am a retired SBTC Missionary. I am in Advanced Rehab and Nursing Facility in Wichita Falls. I’ve watched Fbclawton for over a year and enjoy the services. God Bless you.
