Vacation Bible School is just around the corner June 4-9!!! It’s time to GEAR UP, GET READY, GAME ON! We want to get the word out and let everyone in our community know that we are having VBS and they are invited. So how can you let people know about our VBS?

1. Pick up some tickets from the table in the Hall of Memories, and pass them out wherever you may go in town. These tickets are much like our LCT tickets, in that they are easy to hand out and leave places.

2. Yard signs. We have yard signs with stakes. Pick up a yard sign and place it in your front yard. We are asking for a $5 donation to help cover the cost of these signs. These signs are great for advertising VBS. They are large and have all the necessary information on them.

3. VBS Blitz. This is happening on Sunday afternoon May 20th at 3pm.  We will be heading out to several business in town, as well as heading to several different parks across our community. We will meet here at the church Fellowship Hall and get instructions, tickets, group up and pray before we head out to our locations. Don’t miss out on this great time of fellowship and sharing VBS and the gospel.

4. Mission Lawton door hangers. On Wednesday night May 30th we will meet at the 35 Division Park and pass out door hangers in the community. This will promote the cookout on Saturday, June 2,  and also have information and sign up for VBS as well.

5. Pray. It’s important for us to spend time in prayer about VBS. For the workers of VBS, for the children attending VBS, and for all the ways that we are promoting VBS. God can do amazing things in kids lives through VBS. Pray for the VBS Commencement Sunday, and make sure you are here for that amazing time of celebration and outreach. Take the time to pray for VBS!

We, as your staff, are excited for VBS and how God is going to use it this year in our church and in our community to reach families with the Love of Christ. Make sure you are a part of telling people about making HIM known. GAME ON!
