May we give Glory and Honor for this day that our Lord hath made, our God is so good! I wanted to take a moment and thank my church for the opportunity of serving on the Budget Committee the past 3 years. It is a real honor to work with the staff that we have at FBC.

Once a month the Budget Committee meets to look at the revenue and expenditures to make sure we can take care of our obligations as a church. We are always looking for ways we might be able to lower our expenditures to help balance the budget. This past year, as we were looking at the cost of the Baptist Messenger, the Budget Committee asked the Church Council to look for possible savings in the way we send out the Messenger.  The church does not charge its members for sending the Messenger to them, and we have no plans in the future to do so. It would be good to know if those that receive the Messenger really want an actual copy or would they want to receive it online.

So what the church is asking, if you receive the Messenger now or if you would like to receive the Messenger in the future, please call the church office or go online by April 27 to start or renew your subscription. If we do not here from you, you will not receive the Messenger in the coming months, so please let us know how or if you want to receive the Baptist Messenger.

The Lord has blessed First Baptist Church Lawton/Ft. Sill with many who give as He has asked us to do.  The Church almost met its budget for 2016 and 2017, receiving just over 96 %. Thank you for giving so the gospel can be shared here and around the world for the Glory of Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
