Many of you are quite familiar with Blake & Jenna Bolerjack as they have been our worship leaders for the Living Christmas Tree the last couple of years. This Sunday, First Baptist Church is hosting a concert and worship event at 5:00pm, to help celebrate the Bolerjack’s 15 years in gospel ministry. Additionally, Blake and Jenna have requested the “Christ is Born” quartet to be a part of this night of worship.
If you are unfamiliar with the Bolerjack’s ministry, below is a little insight to how God has used them through the years. Keep up with their ministry and more information at www.blakeandjenna.com or on their Facebook Page: Blake and Jenna Bolerjack.
The Bolerjack’s travel full-time with their concert ministry all across the nation. This award-winning duo communicates their faith through music and their testimonies together onstage, earning them the nickname “The Sweethearts of Gospel Music”. Blake & Jenna mold their voices to create a signature, velvety blend. Their music reflects their personalities, a bubbly mix of classic and modern styles with a big sound that is energetic, happy, and inspiring.
Blake is an award winning songwriter and their songs have repeatedly topped the gospel radio charts. They have appeared on TBN and VTN television networks, onstage in Branson, and will make their fourth tour to Germany in November. Recently, they were scheduled to open for the comedian and musician, Mark Lowry, but that event had to be postponed due to Covid 19. Blake & Jenna are anticipating this event to be rescheduled.
Through Jenna’s battle with cancer in 2016, they have shared everywhere they go about God’s faithfulness as He provided for them every step of the way during the treatment. Praise God for His healing of Jenna and she is fully
recovered today. Blake & Jenna want to emphasize that as believers: “we do not have to fear bad news because we are settled in our minds God will take care of us.”
For the concert Sunday, August 9 at 5:00pm, we are asking everyone to follow the protocol we have been using on Sunday mornings. So, wear your masks in and out of the building and adhere to social distancing. Invite your friends for this night of worship! A love offering will be collected in the foyer, as you exit. Also, the Bolerjack’s will have a product table with their newest recordings.
