Our Senior Adults will enjoy a fun night of feasting and fellowship on Thursday, February 14, 6:00 p.m., at our Senior Adult Valentine Banquet to be held in the Fellowship Hall.  Our delicious dinner will be prepared, “in house”, by our excellent cook, Billie, and her helpers.  There will be no cost for the banquet.  A donation basket will be available to help offset expenses.  At the banquet you will also have the opportunity to sign the list for those planning to attend the upcoming Baptist General Convention of Oklahoma and the Senior Adult Singing and Praising trip to Branson, Missouri.  Information flyers for this overnight trip will be made available at the banquet.

Our Valentine Banquet will include the vocal talent of a MacArthur High School chorus singing love songs.  Other vocalists will share their talents with us too.  Guest accompanist, Cleta Davis, will bless us at the piano.

If you consider yourself a “mature adult” you will not want to miss this wonderful evening of delicious eating and delightful entertainment.  Place the date on your calendar and get ready for an evening that you will not soon forget.  Come a little early so you can enjoy the punch bowl fellowship in the parlor.  I look forward to seeing you at this night of good fun, great food, and grand fellowship.

I am so grateful for each of our Senior Adults who, with delight and diligence, serve our Lord Jesus Christ as God has gifted them.  During this month when we see hearts everywhere I am reminded of what the Lord Jesus said in Matthew 22:37, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.”   Thank you for letting your love for the Lord show.  What a blessing you are.
