What a great week at Vacation Bible School! We had.  222 children registered for VBS this year, and 165 on average each day in attendance. There were about 24 decisions for Christ. We are currently working to follow up with every one of these decisions  for baptism.

The children raised $700 for our church planting partners in Arizona, Shae and Amber Ferguson. VBS was all in all a great week for children to hear the word of God and sing about Him and learn His scripture, as well as taking this back to their homes and sharing with the rest of their families.  We had 456 on Sunday morning for our Commencement services.

Vacation Bible School couldn’t happen without you our volunteers! We were 80 volunteers strong on average each day!

Thank you to all of our volunteers!!! Thank you to our staff for all of their tireless efforts and work, thank you to all of our custodial staff for all the clean up and making our building look great. A special thank you to Reed Johnson for all of his hard work on our backdrop and decorations as well as Lindsey Baldwin for her hard work in getting information for registration and organizing each day of registration and attendance. Thank you to each of you that worked in a class, helped with snacks, lead music, missions, crafts and buses! We cannot do VBS with out each and every one of the volunteers that we had helping in all the different areas.

We are looking forward to seeing how God is going to use VBS through the rest of this year in our church. We will continue to follow up with families who have visited our church as a result of VBS. In anticipation of new families joining our church on Sunday mornings we will be starting a new parenting class on Sunday morning, for all of the families that came to VBS.

God did great things this year, and we are looking forward to what God will continue to do! We had a great Adventure in the Wild!!!
