Christmas was a wonderful day for our family. Great worship, great food, and a great time spent with everyone. We are so blessed. The Christmas season is now closing in our church for the year. Sunday School parties, the Living Christmas Tree and our Family Communion Service all are great traditions. Now we move on to a new year. And the great news is we get more sunlight everyday from now until June!
The shortest day of the year signals something else, the first day of winter. So that means we are going to start our Winter Bible Study. This is our first step in the New Year at First Baptist Lawton.
AWANA will resume and the children go back to school, but we cannot forget that we all need to be deeper in the word. I want to challenge you to be there for our Winter Bible Study.
Our Winter Bible Study will take place on four Sunday nights in January. They will be January 7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th.
Patrick will lead an open session in the Fellowship Hall called Love is What You Need and Laura will lead a Women’s Study called Overcoming Insecurity, Life Lessons from King Saul in Room 210. Both sessions will begin at 5:30 PM. Come and learn.
